Annual servicing is essential for all oil fired boilers as the efficiency rapidly deteriorates as deposits build up within the combustion chamber.

During the service the internals of the boiler are fully cleaned including the boiler baffles and heat exchanger surfaces, also the burner is dismantled and re-fitted with a new nozzle (or jet). This will ensures that fuel oil (kerosene) is mixed correctly with air to burn at maximum efficiency.

As part of the service to your boiler, it will be checked for efficiency using an electronic flue gas analyser. This instrument allows us to fine-tune the boiler to ensure maximum efficiency and optimal running.

Finally we will issue an OFTEC CD11 servicing form which details all the safety checks that were performed on your boiler, this document can make up part of your home information pack
